Let’s be real, the streets during the summer are literally burning hot. I’ll admit it, summer is my favorite season, but I kinda miss layering too! The 90’s trend I was talking about in my introduction could help you pull-off summer layering without suffering from the heat. Seriously, there’s no way you can mess this combination up! The key to taking the slip dress out of the boudoir is to give it a makeover!
My friends and I recently went to an amusement park, and I tried to channel my inner 90’s kid self. I opted for a casual style and stuck to looking minimal; keeping it timeless, relaxed and fancy with solid colours — the usual black and white. I chose a not too tight and not too loose slip-dress, so I can move freely and comfortably, since we roamed around the amusement park, and rode some attractions too. The trick is nostalgic and simple, and can be easily completed with some accessories to add some flavours to it. What I loved the most about this 90’s trend is that it can look edgy, grunge, stylish, sexy, and casual at the same time.
