Relaunching of Faebulous Story

I could finally share with you the newly improved & more sophisticated Faebulous Story!

I’ve always wanted to move to self-hosted WordPress, but I don’t have the courage to do it since it has a lot of work to do and also amounts to pay. Moving from hosted to a self-hosted site will, of course, cost you money but trust me it’s worth it because you have a full access of your blog. You really need to invest when it comes to hosting your own site, but a lot of hosting sites offers affordable program. (If you want to know more about this topic, click here). I’m using a free WordPress ever since I started blogging, and in the midst of my blogging life, I bought my own domain. I thought it was the best decision I’ve made because I got something to call my “own” but still have limited control over my blog. I cannot remove the ads, customize my theme to brand my blog, etc. They offer premium themes and blog plans but it’ll surely cost me more. If you’re a regular reader, you probably knew that I change theme really often because I can’t find the best one for my blog, I can’t find what I want.

I am glad that Laura from Blogerize reached out to me for a collaboration about having a blog makeover for FREE. Blogerize offer online courses that helps new and established bloggers to improve the blogs and offer tutorials. As I was saying, they contacted me about how they love to try and come up with a customized design for my blog. I really hesitated to accept the offer at first because I don’t know if I am ready for this because I still need to transfer my blog to a self-hosted site. I thought about it a lot of times and did my research, but I guess this is the best time for a change. I gave it a try. Laura and her team were really hands-on with this collaboration, and I am very thankful for them because I cannot achieve what I want and I couldn’t transfer everything by myself. Laura helped me a lot throughout this process. Talking about the makeover, she and her design theme asked me about how I wanted to see my blog. I always want a fresh and minimal but sophisticated look for my blog, and they come up with this idea. I am really in love with its new look. Let me know what you think! :)
