Everything Oversized for Christmas

It’s that time of the year again. Take out your best dresses and biggest smiles because it’s Christmas time! I hope you’re doing great feasting on your favorite dishes and spending some quality time with your family. Personally, Christmas is my favorite holiday and I love celebrating it with my loved ones. To be honest, celebrating Christmas abroad is really different from my country, Philippines. I’m feeling homesick and a little bit sad that we’re all miles apart because we used to celebrate it all together before life gave us responsibilities. Nevertheless, love still binds us together.

I remember going on a holiday shopping with my cousins and picking up the perfect outfit we could ever wear; and because of that, I got used to dressing up for Christmas. I planned my outfit ahead of time (weeks before) since I literally have no time to go shopping. I only bought the gifts for the family and my outfit online. I opted for everything oversized since I’m planning to overeat (lol), so I could move freely and comfortably without having to worry about my holiday belly. Who doesn’t love pigging out during holiday season?

This year, I set our family’s motif to anything with a touch of red (any shade) because I’m into something red lately. I don’t want to be too appealing and too intense, so I decided to go for the color wine red to look a little bit classy. Luckily, I found the perfect oversized turtleneck from Pimkie; and then I paired it with an oversized wool jumpsuit from Forever21 that I’ve wanted to have ever since; accessorized it with hoop earrings and a beret. Voila!

Happy Holidays everyone!
