I am always a fan of attending semiformal parties. I don’t know. There’s something in it that I get excited about whenever I’m invited to something. Last night was our friend’s debut, and before the said event, my friends and I got really problematic about what we’re going to wear. I decided about two weeks before the event so I didn’t think about it too much.

A safe bet for semiformal is a pair of culottes! It’s proven that culottes are not just comfortable and easy to wear, but also happen to look great! Culottes are my essential at the moment as you can pair them up with any top. I paired mine with an off-shoulder top DressLink has sent me! They’re a perfect combo because the top is really comfortable too! During the party, I was worried I could get sweaty, but because the top is quite thin, it serves its purpose well! I didn’t get sweaty at all, it gives me a breathable feeling. Also, I layered my whole look with a military green trench vest to contradict my all black ensemble & to add a little twist to my look. Then I threw a pair of heels. All done!
