It’s been so long since the last time I wrote something personal here in my blog. So ready your tissue because I’m going to start the drama. Lol kidding aside. To be honest, I was thinking of something to write about, but I can’t think of any topic and words to say until I thought of Darcy and I’s friendship and realized how far we’ve come. He is one of the reasons why I’m here where I am today. Four years ago, my life plans were completely different until I met Darcy. We want to chase the same dreams, we have the interests, we share the same passion, and we both aim for the same goal. It was so nice to see yourself in someone as passionate as you. We were inseparable, literally, most especially during those challenging days when we wanted to give up on our dreams (but we stand firm and work for what we really want to become). And you know what I love the most about having someone who shares the same passion as you? You’ll understand each other’s hardships, tears, and success. We saw each other through tough times and saw the best in each other despite any of our shortcomings; and we ventured the unknown together. I never expected how we would grow, learn from each other and change for the better. I am very much proud and contented that we are slowly achieving our goals one step at a time. I know everything won’t be an easy process, but one thing’s for sure, it’ll be worth it in the end.
Anyway, I remember the times when we used to plan our matching outfits going to school everyday. Here’s the newest version of it, but this time, we’re flaunting our creations! Darcy created an oversized 3/4 top paired with cropped pants; and I created a set composed of a V-neck backless top and a pair of cropped palazzo with ribbon (it’s not really visible in the pictures, so I’ll try to take another photo during daytime). We got our fabrics from SETARIUM where we had our stage (and my soon-to-be workplace). Yay! I am so excited for the new opportunities the fashion industry has for the both of us. We may be taking different paths now (in the same industry), but I’m pretty sure that we will not grow apart. I’m claiming that we’ll be both successful in the field that we are tracking.
